About us

A family practice that knows your business

BisAcc is a family-run bookkeeping practice in Betty's Bay, built on 10 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.

Why family-run matters

The person doing your books is the person you talk to

Handing over your financial records takes trust. With BisAcc, you're not handed to a call centre or a rotating junior. You work directly with the person doing your books, someone who gets to know how your business runs, month after month.

And behind them is family. People who are personally invested in the practice, in its reputation, and in getting every reconciliation right. That's a level of care that's hard to find in a larger firm.

Ten years of hands-on bookkeeping means we've seen most of what small businesses run into, from messy bank feeds and missing receipts to year-end crunches. We bring calm, careful structure to all of it.

FAQ

Questions we often hear

Do you file my tax returns with SARS?

Your VAT, PAYE and income tax submissions are handled by our trusted, registered tax practitioner partner. We prepare VAT-coded books and reconciliation schedules and hand them over, and our partner takes care of the filing and compliance sign-off.

Tax work is quoted separately, and we're happy to give you a combined quote alongside your bookkeeping package.

What accounting software do you use?

Whichever one suits your business. We work in:

  • Sage Business Cloud Accounting
  • Sage Pastel Partner
  • Sage Pastel Payroll
  • Xero
  • QuickBooks Online
  • Wave
  • Zoho Books
  • SimplePay
  • Excel & Google Sheets

Software licences are quoted separately from our monthly fee, so you only pay for the plan your business actually needs.

Do I have to switch software to work with you?

No. If your business already runs on a system, we work within it. The goal is fitting your business, not forcing a switch.

If you'd rather move to something else, or you're starting from scratch, we'll recommend what fits and handle the migration, with balances carried across cleanly.

I'm behind on my books. Can you help?

Yes. We do catch-up and historical cleanup for businesses that have fallen behind. We start with a free file review, then quote for bringing your records up to date.

Do I need to be near Betty's Bay?

No. Everything is cloud-based, so distance is never a barrier. We focus on the Overberg and Helderberg because we value being part of the local business community.

How do we get started?

Send us a message, an email or a WhatsApp. We'll set up a free consultation, look at your current records, and recommend the package that fits or put together a bespoke quote.
